Taken while studying abroad in Seville, Spain

Working internationally in the political sphere is my long-term goal. In the summer of 2023 I studied abroad in Seville, Spain for my Spanish minor. Most recently in the summer of 2024 I traveled to France with my collegiate marching band, the Marching Southerners, where we were invited to play for the 80th celebration of D-Day. Both of these international experiences have heightened my desire to become a part of the global workforce.

Currently I am searching for a political or Communication position that can begin me on my career path. In the future I plan to travel and become fluent in Spanish through immersion, as well as possibly pursuing a masters in International Studies or Relations.

I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations & Advertising and a minor in Spanish. While enrolled at JSU I made the President's list in Spring 2022 & 2023 and the Dean's list in Fall 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and Spring 2024. My time at JSU helped me discover what I want to pursue professionally and develop the skills necessary for me to get there.

I started my degree at JSU as a music major but quickly switched to Spanish before finally discovering Public Relations & Advertising. All my life I have felt a strong sense of justice and the desire to effect positive change in the world. This has set me on a path into politics via a degree in Communication.
